"Carolyn Castiglia delivers a masterclass in humor and heart with 60 blistering minutes of whip-smart observations, laugh-out-loud performance and stunning vulnerability. Through it all, she redefines not only what it means to be a 'Cool Mom,' but also a growing daughter, stronger feminist and overall better person."
- Bobby Hankinson, Producer, Kweendom
“Embracing her past, she unleashed a powerful, vulnerable performance, moving the audience to howls of laughter mixed with the pain of recognition. In one hour, she took us from her adolescent years into her life as the coolest mom in her kid’s circle of friends. Carolyn’s set revealed a hilarious and heartbreaking journey of self-discovery, contrasting her mother’s actions versus her own as a parent.
Her ability to embody her storytelling is masterful. Carolyn’s Cool Mom is a coming of (r)age for Millennial/Gen-X women and arrives at a time when we are ready to explore the more complicated stories of mothering.”
